Talisha Matheson's Soul Talks gives the right soulful energy
In the last year, I had the pleasure to provide a first edit on a recently published book and even though it was a first for me, I was honoured to have that experience going through the ins and outs of editing a manuscript on deadline and then seeing how the finished product turns out.
With that experience in my back pocket, I was asked earlier this year to provide a blurb for the back cover of a book that drops today by first time author Talisha Matheson. Talisha is the author of the blog The Inspired Introvert, a poet, writer and now published author. Talisha's first published book is based on her blog posts from The Inspired Introvert centering candid conversations about relationships, self-acceptance, loss, growth and more. Soul Talks offers reflection and perspective for the reader to open up and ask the difficult questions in regards to loved ones, friends and oneself.
"Thought-provoking, witty and always real! Soul Talks declutters our souls and provides the lyrical space for love and forgiveness to move in. Through life experiences, a joie de vivre and never-ending optimism, Soul Talks will keep you in that sunshine state of mind." - Fabien Loyd
This publication is special to me even though I have a minuscule part to play in support of it, which you will be able to read on the back cover of the book. It's always an honour to be asked to participate in someone else's "baby" whether it was just doing the first edit as I did for Sarah Gagne's first publication Mind Funk and now writing a back cover blurb for Soul Talks. I hope you all will go support a local writer and author and I know you will be inspired by the Soulful conversations.
Soul Talks is available on either on Amazon or at Chapters Indigo and even from A Different Booklist. Get it and enjoy the great 52 weeks of inspiration and introspective conversations.
You can connect with The Inspired Introvert on Instagram and be sure to check out The Inspired Introvert blog as well.
