Video from CBC News/Youtube
This week's fail of the week started at the beginning of the week when the Quebec government reimposed the 8pm curfew a few weeks after moving the curfew back to 9:30pm. As you see in the video, a group of "protestors" took to the streets in Old Montreal and decided that destroying store windows and rioting maskless was going to send a message somewhere.
What these rioters missed is that while they were in the streets, maskless, breaking stores windows and wasting the city's resources trying to contain them and cleaning up after them, normal citizens were actually doing much more to end this pandemic so that we can finally have this curfew finally lifted and lockdowns rescinded. Ironically, these people just served to point out that we still have a ways to go before we are done with this.
Hopefully their "protest" was not a super spreader event.
